How to watch

This lecture starts on 25 June at 7:00pm (UK).

Summary

On a visit to London’s Dillons University Bookshop, Israeli novelist Haim Be’er chanced upon an old acquaintance, Efraim Halevy, in the basement. Despite not knowing that Halevy now worked for the Mossad, Be’er refrained from greeting him. He also did not recognise the guy that Halevy was huddled with. Be’er had stumbled on a cloak-and-dagger meeting that eventually led to peace between Israel and Jordan.
