Hagai M. Segal
Gaza: What Now?

Monday 20.10.2025

Summary

Please note this session will only be available to watch live.

Trump’s Gaza “peace plan” has been signed at a ceremony in Egypt attended by over 20 heads of state, yet neither of the actual protagonists in the conflict (Israel or Hamas) was present! Trump and the plan’s key backers have decided that the situation on the ground has become so dangerous that the time has come not to do a deal “with” Israel and Hamas, but to do one “to” them. The international community has come together, like never before, to push for a grand plan to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict once and for all, and forge a wider Middle-East peace with it. But will it work?! Certainly the hardest parts are still to come. In this timely lecture Hagai considers what to expect in the coming months.
